Dewandakwahjatim.com, Surabaya – How old are we now? 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 or more than 90 years old???

At what age did our Imam, Rasulullah Muhammad SAW, die?

He was born on Monday, 12 Rabiul Awwal, the year of the Elephant. (20 April 571 AD)

He died on Monday in the month of Rabiul Awwal, 11 Hijrah

This means he died at the age of 61 according to the Hijri calendar or 63 years according to the Gregorian calendar.

The day and date of birth of Rasulullah SAW are the same as the day and date of his death.

How long will we live in this world?

Before being born into the world, we lived in the Spirit Realm, then in the Womb Realm, then now we live in the World Realm.

How long will we be in this World Realm? Wallahualam. Only Allah knows.

Man is like a coconut; some are still small pieces (Javanese Bluluk) that have fallen off or fallen from the tree, some are still young coconuts (Javanese Degan) that have fallen from the tree, there are also those that are old, dry and dry and haven’t fallen from the tree.

Likewise humans; some who were still toddlers have died, some who are still children (teenagers) or young people have died and there are also those who are old but still alive and healthy.

Man does not know how long he will live in this world.
We can only pray, hope and make efforts that we will be given a long, blessed life, which will be beneficial for our family, community, religion, nation and state.

One of the prayers taught by the Prophet Muhammad was:

God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing ك ، واحسن عمالي ، واغفر لي

Allahumma aktsir mali, wa waladi, wabarik li fima a’thoitani, wa athil biological ‘ala tho’atik, wa ahsin ‘amali, waghfirly.
(Hadith narrated by Imam Bukhari).

O Allah, increase my wealth and children and bless the gifts you have given me. Longen my life in obedience to You and improve my deeds and forgive my sins.

This prayer comes from two hadiths. The first hadith narrated by Imam Bukhori from Anas bin Malik, is that his mother, Umm Sulaim said:

يا رسول الله النس خادمك ادع الله له. قال اللهم اكثر ماله وولده. و بارك له فيما اعطيته

“O Rasulullah, Anas is your servant. Pray to Allah for him. Then the Prophet SAW prayed:
Allahuma aktsir evenu wa waladahu wabarik fima a’thoitahu. (O Allah, increase the wealth of Anas and children and bless the gifts that You have given them.)

The second hadith was mentioned by Ibn Abi Khaitsamah from Abas bin Malik, he said:

Words: God’s Words:
يا رسول الله، خويدمك اذغ الله له، قال اللهم اكثر ماله، وولده، وءطل ع مره، واغفر ذنبه

My mother went with me to Rasullullh SAW. Then my mother said to Rasulullah SAW, “O Rasullullh, your family helper, pray to Allah for

“O Allah, increase the wealth of Anas and his children and make his life long and forgive his sins.”
